Welcome to my private studio, where I teach all levels of voice (ages 13+) and piano (ages 5+). I'm a classical musician residing in Minneapolis, but many of my classes are operable either in-person or online!

My goal for students is ultimately to grow and learn the skills it takes to be a successful, well-rounded person. Music requires persistence, curiosity, and discipline. I use patience, humor, and empathy to instill these habits so students can reach their goals.

WHY MUSIC LESSONS?

Here is the question I receive the most: how do these lessons benefit my child outside of the piano?

APTITUDE

Children who had a few years of piano study under their belts could remember twenty percent more vocabulary words than their peers.

EMOTIONAL INTELLIGENCE

Music training not only helps children develop fine motor skills, but aids emotional and behavioral maturation as well.

SOCIAL SKILLS

Kids who make music have been shown to get along better with classmates and have fewer discipline problems.
